    WEAR & TEAR POLICY

At Andrea Biani, we acknowledge that the wear and tear experienced by our customers is a natural part of their daily lives. It's important to note that the notion of 'wear and tear' is subjective, varying depending on individual expectations and usage patterns.

Andrea Biani is not liable for shoes displaying normal wear and tear over time, a duration that is subjective but generally considered to be around six months. It's normal for scratches and abrasions to occur under routine use, and the soles, supporting our body weight, will naturally wear down over time. We want to stress that the longevity of footwear is influenced by proper care.

Our commitment is to deliver stylish and functional footwear, and we encourage our customers to care for their shoes to enhance both performance and longevity. If you have any enquiries regarding our warranty or need assistance, please don't hesitate to contact our customer service team at hello@abshoes.co.nz.

    GUIDELINES

The wear of a shoe varies between individuals and types, influenced by factors such as walking style, weight, load, and terrain. Usage conditions, notably daily wear on surfaces like cement and carpet, can impact wear rates. Wear and tear are inevitable aspects but are not indicative of defects.

    • Purchase shoes that fit correctly. This guarantees that they bend where intended, offering optimal support.
    • Reduce wear and tear by consistently alternating between pairs of shoes worn each day. (eg. Don't wear the same pair x5 days in a row).
    • Shoe repairers advise regular assessments, every 3-4 months post-purchase. These assessments assist in identifying wear patterns and identifying preventive measures to extend the lifespan of the shoes.

    USEFUL TIPS

    • Ask the staff instore, customer service team online or a shoe repair professional regarding creams for leather nourishment, cleaning, or waterproof protection. You can find our shoe care rangehere.
    • For removing dirt and stains, utilise a clean cloth or a fine bristle brush.
    • Avoid using washing machines or dryers; refrain from submerging the shoes in water or rinsing them under the tap.
    • If the shoes get wet, fill the shoe with dry paper and leave it for 1-2 hours. Repeat until the shoe is completely dry.
    • Allow your shoes to air-dry at room temperature overnight.
    • Store your shoes away in their original shoe box.
