At Andrea Biani, we believe that fashionable footwear shouldn't come at the cost of our planet or the people who make our shoes. As a New Zealand-based business rooted in Christchurch since 1996, we are deeply committed to sustainability and ethical practices throughout every step of our journey.

Our Ethical Partnerships:

For over 20 years, we've proudly worked with a small family-owned and operated factory in Guangzhou, China. Our relationship with this factory is built on trust, respect, and a shared commitment to ethical manufacturing practices. By partnering with this factory, we ensure that our shoes are crafted with care and attention to detail by skilled artisans who are treated fairly and paid above the living wage.

Our Commitment to Sustainability:

While we source shoes from every corner of the globe, our central focus is on our own Andrea Biani brand which is designed in house right here in Christchurch, New Zealand.  Each season, we passionately curate styles that are not only fashionable but also ethically and environmentally responsible. By using sustainable materials such as  vegan glue and creating designs that are interseasonal and can be easily resoled and repaired. Our Andrea Biani collections are created in small batches and we will only restock a design once it has completely sold out to reduce over-ordering and overconsumption.  We're dedicated to minimising our impact on the planet while ensuring that our shoes are loved and worn for years to come.
